“CHASIOR” Exhibition in Zakopane

We had the pleasure of attending a remarkable event at the Tatra Museum, where artists Adam Rzepecki and Piotr Lutyński personally led us through the “CHASIOR” exhibition - a show marking 40 years of the Władysław Hasior Gallery in Zakopane. The exhibition was co-created by members of the Supergroup of the Kraków Underground: Adam Rzepecki, Piotr Lutyński, Jerzy Kosałka, and Zbigniew Libera. Their works, presented alongside Hasior’s, came together to form a compelling and cohesive dialogue between generations and sensibilities. The show featured not only existing pieces, but also new, site- specific works created especially for the museum space. The event was brimming with energy, wit, and sincerity. The artists offered not only insights into the exhibition itself, but also personal anecdotes and reflections on Hasior, who was an endlessly inspiring figure. The intimate atmosphere encouraged open discussion and invited deeper reflection on the role and meaning of art today.
