§ 1
These Regulations define the procedure, deadlines, method, and conditions for paying membership fees to the Friends of Bunkier Sztuki Society (hereinafter referred to as FBSS), as well as the privileges offered by FBSS to its members in connection with the payment of their membership fees.
§ 2
-
Regular payment of membership fees is a basic statutory obligation of FBSS members.
-
The amount of the membership fee for each membership category, including any changes, is determined by a resolution of the FBSS Board.
-
Documentation related to the payment of membership fees is maintained by a representative appointed by the FBSS Board.
§ 3
-
These Regulations establish two levels of membership offered to ordinary and supporting members of FBSS: Friend of Bunkier Sztuki and Patron of Bunkier Sztuki.
-
The annual membership fee for the Friend of Bunkier Sztuki level is set at PLN 200. A member with this status is entitled to the following privileges during the subscription year:
-
Entry to all exhibitions at Bunkier Sztuki for PLN 2;
-
Participation in meetings and exhibition openings organized by FBSS at Bunkier Sztuki;
-
20% discount on workshops organized by Bunkier Sztuki;
-
Participation in curator-led tours of exhibitions, meetings with artists, visits to galleries, studios, and other institutions organized by FBSS (costs and availability will be determined based on the event);
-
Meetings with collectors and visits to private collections.
-
-
The annual membership fee for the Patron of Bunkier Sztuki level is set at PLN 600. A member with this status is entitled to the following privileges during the subscription year:
-
Entry to all exhibitions at Bunkier Sztuki for PLN 2, including a guest;
-
Participation in meetings and exhibition openings organized by FBSS at Bunkier Sztuki;
-
20% discount on workshops organized by Bunkier Sztuki;
-
Participation in curator-led tours, meetings with artists, visits to studios, galleries, and other institutions organized by FBSS;
-
Meetings with collectors and visits to private collections;
-
One guided tour per year for up to 15 guests at any selected exhibition at Bunkier Sztuki;
-
Mention in FBSS’s annual activity report;
-
Participation in specially organized guided tours during events such as Kraków Art Fair, Warsaw Gallery Weekend, or other significant events.
-
-
For supporting members who are legal entities, the privileges outlined in § 3 (except items 3.f and 3.g) apply to one designated employee/representative of the legal entity.
-
Each FBSS member may voluntarily choose to pay a different amount than those listed above. Payment between PLN 200 and 599 entitles the member to the Friend of Bunkier Sztuki status and its associated privileges. Payment of PLN 600 or more grants the Patron of Bunkier Sztuki status and its associated privileges.
-
Any person may also make a donation of any amount to the Friends of Bunkier Sztuki Society.
§ 4
-
The membership fee is payable annually in advance, by January 15 of the given year.
-
For new members joining FBSS, the fee is due within 15 days of admission. If joining between January 1 and June 30, the full fee applies. If joining between July 1 and December 31, half of the full fee is required.
-
For subsequent years, the full annual fee applies.
-
Membership fees should be transferred to the following FBSS bank account: 77 1140 2004 0000 3102 8556 8189.
-
The subscription year runs from January to December. Membership status and fee payments can be obtained at any time.
-
Proof of payment (e.g., transfer confirmation) must include the full name or legal name of the member concerned.
-
If the payment lacks identifying information, the payment will remain unassigned. Until identification is confirmed, the membership fee is treated as unpaid.
-
Failure to pay the fee for three consecutive months results in automatic suspension of the privileges specified in § 3 until overdue payments are made or a request is approved under § 5.
§ 5
-
In exceptional and justified circumstances, an FBSS member may submit a written request to the Board to pay the fee at a different time or to repay arrears in installments.
-
The FBSS Board decides by resolution whether and under what conditions the request is approved.
-
Deferral or installment payment does not exempt the member from the obligation to pay current dues on time.
§ 6
-
The membership fee register maintained by the Board’s representative is the sole basis for determining a member’s rights and obligations, including eligibility for privileges.
-
Based on this register, the representative prepares a list of members who have paid, indicating the period covered.
-
A sample of the register is attached as Annex 1 to these Regulations.
-
Members may request verification of their individual records.
-
The Board must respond to such requests within one month.
-
In the case of unforeseen events affecting a member’s ability to pay, the Board may suspend payment obligations by resolution.
§ 7
-
Honorary FBSS members are exempt from membership fees.
-
Honorary members are not entitled to the privileges listed in § 3.
§ 8
The exact membership fee amount for ordinary and supporting members is determined by the Board by resolution under § 38 point 10 of the FBSS Statute.
§ 9
Failure to pay the membership fee for more than 12 months constitutes grounds for removal from the membership list under § 22 point 2 of the FBSS Statute.
§ 10
-
A member removed for non-payment may reapply for membership after settling all outstanding dues.
-
Readmission requires payment of all arrears up to the date of removal.
§ 11
-
In matters not regulated by these Regulations, the FBSS Board shall decide in accordance with applicable law, the FBSS Statute, and resolutions of the General Assembly.
-
These Regulations enter into force on the day of adoption by the FBSS General Assembly.
-
The resolution adopting these Regulations was passed on February 2, 2025.
